Curriculum:
1987-1994 Study of biology at the Freie Universität Berlin (botany, zoology, and ecology).
1995-1997 PhD degree (Epiphytic vegetation of the laurel forests of the Canary Islands).
1996-1997 landscape-ecological mapping in Berlin and Brandenburg. 1998-1999 Research Assistant at the Institut für Biologie, Systematische Botanik und Pflanzengeographie, FU Berlin.
2001-2003 Geomolecular differention of selected weedy species (postdoc grant by the DFG).
since 2003 postdoc at the Botanical Museum Berlin Dahlem.
2004-2006 Systematical and phylogeographical investigations of the alpine taxa Ephedra helvetica, Stipa eriocaulis and Astragalus pastellianus (supported by grants of the Berliner Programm zur Förderung der Chancengleichheit für Frauen in Forschung und Lehre and the Naturmuseum Bozen/Italien).
2007 Data Cleaning GBIF- / BioCASE Portal (Synthesys project), collaboration in the Seed bank at the Botanical Gareden Berlin-Dahlem and ENSCONET (European Native Seed Conservation Network).
