Abstract
The Australian species Chenopodium (sect.
Orthosporum) pumilio is reported from Iran for the first time.
Several populations were discovered in the eastern and central part
of the Caspian Sea Basin in the province of Mazandaran. Chromosome
counts reveal 2n = 18.
