Aspicilia substerilis Sipman - (Aspicilia subfarinosa (J. Steiner) Şenkard. & Sipman) This is probably the species reported as A. farinosa from the Aegean. However, it differs from the description in Clauzade & Roux (1985) by the apothecium anatomy, which agrees with A. calcarea. It was reported by myself erroneously as Hymenelia prevostii. Major substances: none.
