Curriculum:
Born in Nicosia (Cyprus) on 19 March 1934. 1952-1962 civil servant in the Agronomy Section
of the Department of Agriculture in Nicosia. University studies in Berlin (PhD 1971).
1972-1976 assistant at the Ruhr-University in Bochum, Germany. Since January 1977-1999
curator at the Botanisches Museum Berlin-Dahlem. Retired March 1999.
